Happy July! Summer is in full swing and we have been having tons of summer fun! We will be taking off for our first family camping trip this weekend, but before we go, I just had to share this awesome teething necklace I recently discovered that my teething babe just absolutely loves! I will even be taking it to the beach with us this weekend.
The Chew-Choos Teething Necklace by Baby Pinch, a mom-owned company, is made with food-grade silicone rubber beads that baby can’t get enough of. The necklace is dishwasher safe, so it can be easily sterilized. Score! Silicone does easily attract fuzzies, but you can just run the necklace under water, pat it dry, and you’re good to go.
Not only is this teething necklace functional, it is also stylish. I am not the most stylish person and I will be the first to admit my mama style is certainly struggling, but I love throwing this necklace on with a t-shirt and it looks like I at least tried! Haha! The colors are pretty and feminine, but also neutral enough to match a lot of different outfits. It’s so convenient to have around my neck when we are out and about and E needs something to play with or chew on.
When I first picked up the necklace, it did feel a little heavy because of all the beads. Once I wore it though for a few minutes, I completely forgot it was on. The weight didn’t bother me while I was wearing it.
Another great feature of the necklace is that there are knots between each bead so that if it did break, the beads would stay attached and it would really limit the choking hazard. I feel much more comfortable letting E chew on teething necklaces that have these knots. There is also a breakaway clasp that is very secure. E pulls and pulls and it doesn’t come undone.
