A Day Out at Kids N’ Stuff Children’s Museum

November 16, 2016 By: Kristie

We needed something fun to do today, so we decided to visit the Kids N’ Stuff Children’s Museum in Albion, MI. This was our first time there and let me just tell you…it is awesome! I was so pleased with this little gem we stumbled upon. E had so much fun. And we were there for hours.

Throughout the museum, there are “themed” areas that have different things for the kids to play with. We started with the Auto Shop. Rode some motorcycles, drove some cars, and played with the tools. There is even an area where you can shop for your auto supplies and ring them up at the cash register!

The little grocery store was my favorite! Full on check out lanes with scanners. I would have LOVED this as a kid. The shelves were stocked with all sorts of different items to shop for. And the little carts? SO CUTE!

There was a dress up area with costumes and a stage where you could put on a show! There was also a little puppet theater with plenty of puppets. I also would have been all about this as a child. We’ll have to wait a little bit before E can put on a show for us…at least a scripted one haha!

A few more things on the main floor that really struck E’s interest were the ambulance and all the switches inside, the conservation station, and the bank! She loved pushing the buttons on the computer in the bank without mom telling her “No!”

Water tables are always a big hit with E, so I was excited to see they had one. And she didn’t even get completely soaking wet! Score!

There is an art area that is stocked with craft supplies and a spot with paint to paint a masterpiece. There is also one of those giant light brite boards in this area. So cool.

I seriously could go on and on. So many neat things in this children’s museum for all ages. A rock climbing wall for bigger kids and for the little ones, there is a dedicated room filled with toys and things to climb on for 0-18 month-olds.

This air wall was so cool! You put in yarn balls and watch them zoom through the tubes until they shoot out! Lots of giggles with this one.

All of this pictured here probably isn’t even half of everything the Kids N’ Stuff Children’s Museum has to offer. I highly recommend it  if you are anywhere near driving distance to Albion that you go check it out! It is totally worth the drive.

I found out on the 4th Thursday of the month it is Free Day! But with Thanksgiving this month, the next Free Day is this week, Thursday, November 17! That’s a perfect opportunity to check it out! They also offer memberships so you can visit all year. We would definitely get one if we were closer!

[This post was NOT sponsored. I paid full price for our tickets and it was worth it! Just wanted to share our fun day and a fabulous business.]
