Our family time is so important to us. Having time do things all together, just us, is always one of my priorities. I love to get out and do fun things together, visit new places and most importantly, create opportunities for our daughter to learn and explore.
Goldfish Swim School is one of our favorite family destinations, and not just for our swim lessons, but for some fun in the pool all together as a family.
Our first time at Family Swim February 2016! Evie was 8 months old.
There are several open swim times that are offered at Goldfish during what they call Family Swim. Anyone can attend these swim times, even if you are not a member and not signed up for swim classes! Swim times and rates vary by location. At ours, there are opportunities for members to swim free during Family Swim. Otherwise, it is $5/person or $15/family. During Family Swim, it is the perfect time to just hang out in a relaxed environment and allow the little ones to get used to the water at their own pace. It is also a great time to practice skills that the kids are learning during their lessons. We found the more we went to Family Swim, the more comfortable Evie was in the water and it has really made a positive impact on her progress during lessons.
During Family Swim you have the chance to play with fun things like this canoe! Evie loves Family Swim because she gets the chance to play with all of the things they use in lessons for as long as she wants!
